GRUNDY COUNTY – A truck tractor car hauler caught fire on I-80 in the westbound lane just east of Brisbin Road in Grundy County just after 12:20 pm Wednesday.
Illinois State Police District 5 reported brakes of the truck tractor car hauler caught fire with one of the cars the vehicle was transporting becoming fully engulfed in flames.
The truck tractor car hauler was able to pull over onto the right shoulder before the fire spread throughout the rest of the transport.
No injuries were reported.
