Windsor Mill, MD – Baltimore County police announced an arrest Thursday in connection with a September shooting that left a 27 year old man wounded near Liberty Road.
According to the Baltimore County Police Department , detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit charged Aaron Williams, 28 , following the Sept. 10 shooting at the intersection of Langrehr Road and Liberty Road in the Windsor Mill area.
Police said the shooting occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. Officers initially learned of the incident after a 27 year old man sought treatment at a local hospital for a gunshot wound.
Investigators later determined that the shooting had occurred at the Langrehr Road and Liberty Road intersection.
Police said Williams faces multiple charges, including attempted first degree murder . Authorities did not provide additional details in Thursday's update about what allegedly led to the shooting or the evidence that resulted in Williams being charged.
Williams is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond , according to police.
The department had previously asked the public for information while detectives investigated the shooting. Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland also offered a potential cash reward of up to $2,000 for qualifying information submitted through its program.
Police did not indicate in Thursday's update whether additional suspects are being sought.
The charges against Williams are allegations. He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
