Ashkum becomes 6th Iroquois County zip code now reporting COVID cases

Iroquois County Health Department officials announced Wednesday six new cases of COVID-19 in the County as Ashkum, now with six cases, began reporting today via IDPH. 

So far 728 residents have been tested in Iroquois County, with 107 resulting in positive cases.   At least 33 have recovered now to date.  Four remain hospitalized while three are dead from the pandemic.  There are now 67 Iroquois County residents in isolation.

Ashkum now becomes the fourth zip code in Iroquois County zip reporting COVID-19 cases this week.  Six zips are now reporting in the County.  Earlier in the week, Beaverville, Watseka and Crescent City were added to that list.

  • 42 cases (Clifton)
  • 10 cases  (Onarga)
  • 9 cases (Watseka)
  • 6 cases (Crescent City)
  • 6 cases (Beaverville)
  • 6 cases (Ashkum)
