Grand Theft Auto victim at McDonald’s Drive-Thru in Homer Glen

HOMER GLEN – A customer found himself victim to a carjacking at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Homer Glen Wednesday night.

It happened shortly after 6 pm at the McDonalds at 14298 S. Bell Road in Homer Glen. According to Sheriff’s reports, a 20-year-old man was in line at the drive-thru when two black males approached his vehicle with handguns. The victim was told to get out of his car by the men who hopped in and took off with his 2020 dark red Dodge Charger. The 20-year-old reports the men got out of a BMW SUV with blacked-out windows before approaching his vehicle.  

Sheriff’s deputies are continuing to investigate the case.
