Harley, Volkswagen collide in Joliet leaving several hospitalized

JOLIET– Multiple people were hospitalized following a crash early Monday Morning.

According to reports, it happened just after 8am this morning when a 16-year-old from Shorewood driving a Volkswagen Jetta was leaving a driveway in the 1100 block of Ingalls Avenue. 

The driver of the Volkswagen attempted to turn onto Ingalls Avenue when the driver collided with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.  The crash caused the driver of the bike to roll onto the hood of the car while his female passenger was ejected off the bike.

The female passenger was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.  The driver of the bike and occupants of the Volkswagen were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
