A spring Farmers Market will happen in Downtown Kankakee starting May 2nd, however it will be drive-thru only.

No music, no breakfast and no socializing.

The announcement was made earlier this evening on the Kankakee Farmers Market Facebook page. Single car lines will be allowed to pick up orders made in advance.  Residents headed to the market are asked to enter from the Dearborn parking lot side of the market. Very slow speeds are recommended while advancing throughout the market.

A dedicated radio station will also be set up for residents to turn to while driving through the market for more information.  Market pre-orders will soon be accepted online at downtownkankakee.com.
