Naperville Man arrested on multiple warrants after ramming Squad car

MANTENO – A Naperville man was arrested over the weekend for outstanding warrants out of two counties and charged after trying to flee police.

According to Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police, it happened Sunday in the 500 block of North Hickory in Manteno.  Sheriff’s Police arrived to assist Manteno Police in taking the man, who’s as wanted on multiple warrants from two counties, into custody.

While attempting the arrest the man allegedly used a vehicle to ram a Sheriff’s squad car.  Shortly after 35-year old Jonathan C Caffey was taken into custody on the warrants which included a domestic battery warrant out of Will County and an Aggravated Discharge warrant in LaSalle County.  

Caffey was also charged with fleeing/attempting to elude an officer and driving on a suspend license.
