Nearly 10,000 Affected by Power Outages In Kankakee County

BOURBONNAIS — Following extensive damage including branches and downed trees across the south suburbs afters severe storms moved through the area Monday, nearly 10,000 area residents in Kankakee County had been affected by power outages, according to the ComEd outage map.

Since that time, that number has lessened as services for area homes and businesses have been restored. On Tuesday, ComEd reported service is expected to resume for clients across Illinois by Saturday at 3 pm.
