Tickets on sale now for Once on This Island presented by Kankakee High School

Kankakee, IllinoisFebruary 11th, 2020Once on This Island presented by Kankakee High School is being presented in the KHS Auditorium on Friday, March 13th and Saturday, March 14th at 7pm and Sunday, March 15th at 2pm. 

Once on This Island tells the story of Ti Moune. Ti Moune is a fearless peasant girl who falls in love with a wealthy boy from the other side of the island. When their divided cultures keep them apart, Ti Moune is guided by the powerful island gods, Erzulie (air-zoo-lee), Asaka (ah-sah-kah), Papa Ge (Papa Gay), and Agwe (ah-gway), on a remarkable quest to reunite with the man who has captured her heart.

Adult tickets are $10 and student tickets are $7. Children 4 and under have free admission, but do need a seat as seats are assigned. Tickets may be purchased at the door, but tickets purchased in advance at the box office allow for audience members to select their seating. Box office hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15pm to 4:45pm in the KHS Auditorium beginning on February 11th through March 5th.
