PARK FOREST, IL – Three felons are being held without bond after a raid on a home in unincorporated Park Forest last Friday executed by the Will County Sheriff’s Office, Gang Suppression Unit (GSU).
The arrests came as part of an extensive narcotics trafficking investigation, which discovered a cache of narcotics and weapons at a home.
Eleven people were taken into custody for questioning as they exited the premises. A thorough search of the residence revealed 1077 grams of cannabis, 18 pills of ecstasy, prescription medications, promethazine syrup, oxycodone pills, and several firearms including rifles, handguns, and a suppressor. A significant amount of currency was also seized during the operation.
As a result of the investigation, three individuals were arrested and charged. Ice C. Heard, 32, of 2 Apple Lane in Park Forest, was charged with armed violence, possession with intent to deliver, and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. Kesyon Q. Heard, 29, of 124 W. 108th Place in Chicago, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. Devonte Robinson, 24, of 15343 Blackstone Avenue in Dolton, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.
The suspects are being held without bond due to outstanding warrants and parole violation.
The case remains under investigation.
