No. 2 Ohio State paused volunteer workouts after COVID-19 testing

Ohio State has paused all voluntary workouts following a recent round of COVID-19 testing among student-athletes at the school.

The school does not release their testing data for student-athletes. Ohio State is currently ranked No. 2 in ESPN’s 2020 preseason Football Power Index.

Earlier today, all Ivy League schools announced they would suspend football for Fall 2020.  It’s the first Division I conference to make such an announcement placing a statute for other Division I teams to follow, should they choose.
