116th Will County Fair Starts Today

The 116th Annual Will County Fair starts today.  Running from August 21st to August 25th. General Admission is $5.00 with children under 9 getting in for free.

Wednesday, August 21 “FAMILY DAY”

10:00 a.m. Fair Opens to Public – $5.00 Gate Admission Per Person, Children 9 and under free
4:00 p.m. Carnival opens – All Rides $1.50 ea. or 16 for $20.00.
5:30 p.m. 10th annual Children’s Ping Pong Ball Drop 5:30 pm FREE.

Thursday, August 22 – “Senior Citizen’s Day” and “Veterans Day”

8:00 a.m. Fair Opens to Public – Senior Citizens and Veterans $2.00 Gate Admission per Person (All Day and Evening)
$5.00 Gate Admission per Person, Children 9 and under FREE.
9:00a.m. Tractor Pull Demonstration, Free in the Grandstand
4:00 p.m. Carnival Opens “Ride-A-Thon Night” Ride as often as you like $25.00 per person
6:30 p.m. I.T.P.A. Tractor & Truck Pull — Grandstand Admission $8.00 – Pit Passes inside track, Age 16 & Over – $10.00 per Person.

Friday, August 23 – “Demolition Derby Day 1”

8:00 a.m. Fair Opens to Public – $5.00 Gate Admission per Person, Children 9 and under FREE.
4:00 p.m. Carnival opens
6:30 p.m. Power Wheels Derby
7:30 p.m. Will County Fair Demolition Derby – Grandstand Admission $10.00. Pit Passes 16 and over $15.00.

Saturday, August 24 – “Demolition Derby Day 2”

8:00 a.m. Fair Opens to Public – $5.00 Gate Admission per Person, Children 9 and under FREE.
12:00 noon Carnival Opens
3:00 – 4:30 p.m. WVLI “The Valley” 95.1 SOCK HOP at the Entertainment Tent
5:30 p.m. Will County 4-H Livestock Auction held in the Livestock Show Ring
5:30 p.m. Power Wheels Derby
6:30 p.m. Will County Fair Demolition Derby – Grandstand Admission $10.00. Pit Passes 16 and over $15.00.

Sunday, August 25

8:00 a.m. Fair Opens to Public – $5.00 Gate Admission per Person, Children 9 and under FREE
9:00 a.m. Peotone Community Church Service
12:00 noon Carnival Opens
1:00 p.m. 10th Annual Chili Cook-off Pre-Registration Required (limited to the first 25 entries) Start: at about 8:00 a.m.. Judging time will be at about 1:00 pm
Chili Cook-Off Information
1:30 p.m. BABY SHOW (for babies 6 – 36 months) Have to be pre-registered – Copy of Certified County Birth Certificate required. Entries close Saturday, August 24 at 8:00 p.m.  
 2:00 p.m. Rodeo – $8.00, grandstand admission
7:00 p.m. The Fine Arts Building will close, and will re-open once the entries are prepared for pickup, and will remail open until 9:00 p.m.
8:00 p.m. Release of Commercial Exhibits
