Schaumburg, IL – Schools Enter Secure Mode Amid Local Police Incident

Schaumburg, IL – In response to a local police situation in Schaumburg, School District 54 has enacted a secure mode protocol for Eisenhower Junior High, MacArthur, Muir, Churchill, and Lincoln Prairie schools. 

According to the district’s communication with families, access to these schools is currently restricted, with no entry or exits permitted until further notice. Officials have confirmed that students and staff remain safe as classes continue. No word on specifics to what caused the schools to enter secure mode protocols.

Parents and guardians are advised to stay clear of the school premises until the secure status is lifted. The district has committed to providing updates as the situation evolves.
