Juvenile Shot in Peoria’s Recent Gunfire – Authorities Seek Tips

PEORIA, IL – A ShotSpotter alert drew Peoria Police to the 2300 block of N. Delaware Tuesday night after it detected seven rounds fired. 

Police report arriving on the scene just after 7 p.m. when officers discovered a female juvenile with a gunshot wound to her arm. Thankfully, her injuries were deemed non-life-threatening. 

Units from the Peoria Police Department’s CID, SID, CSU, and Patrol Unit are actively investigating the incident. As of now, there’s no lead on a suspect.
