Kentucky to See Bursts of Strong Downpours Including Hail Wednesday

Louisville, KY – Strong to severe storms are expected to hit Kentucky Wednesday afternoon through late Wednesday evening, bringing the potential for damaging winds, heavy rain, and hail.

According to the US National Weather Service in Louisville, the most severe weather is anticipated in southern Indiana and northern parts of Western Kentucky and Bluegrass Parkways in Kentucky. Thunderstorms could intensify by the evening, posing significant risks of localized heavy rainfall and small hail. Residents are urged to stay alert and take necessary precautions.
