WASHINGTON – A Washington state trooper got a surprise when he thought he had pulled over to find a driver in distress. Instead, the trooper discovered a driver stopped playing eight different versions of the Augmented Reality video game, Pokémon Go, at once.

Trooper Rick Johnson is the spokesman for the patrol and says Sgt. Kyle Smith did not issue a ticket because the vehicle was not moving while the driver was using the phones. The driver was stopped south of Seattle on Thursday evening.  Above is a photo the agency tweeted out showing blue foam square with eight individual rectangular cutouts holding the phones.
