Sony Pictures and Walt Disney Studios have announced the third installment of their shared universe franchise of Spider-Man.  The movie will continue where the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home left off and be co-produced by the two studios, with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige working with the third entry into the series.

Just a few months ago, Sony and Marvel stepped away from the barging table to keep the web-slinger in the MCU, leaving fans of the monumental series stunned. As for now, it looks as though that is ancient history.  As for now, it looks like Tom Holland’s portrayal of Peter Parker in the MCU is all but golden news!

The film will hit theaters on July 16th, 2021.
