BLOOMINGTON, IL – The Bloomington Police Department is on the lookout for Michael Bakana, a 44-year-old black male wanted for multiple warrants stemming from a homicide that occurred in Bloomington, IL on January 30, 2021.
According to police, the suspect, who was out on bond, failed to appear in court for trial this morning and cut off his court-ordered GPS ankle bracelet.
Bakana’s whereabouts are unknown and he may have fled the Bloomington/Normal area. He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
