BOLINGBROOK – The Bolingbrook community is reeling after a violent home invasion left three people dead and one injured. Bolingbrook Police responded to the 100 block of Lee Ln. at 8:15 p.m. Sunday night after receiving a report of a possible home invasion. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered that three adults and one juvenile had been shot.
Tragically, one adult female, one adult male, and one juvenile female were pronounced dead at the scene. The fourth victim, an adult female, was transported to an area hospital for treatment. At this time, there is no information available about the perpetrators of this heinous crime.
The Bolingbrook Police Department has cordoned off the area as an active crime scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
