DARIEN, Ill. – A car collided with a Taco Bell on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident, at 75th Street and Cass Avenue around 5 p.m., sent shockwaves through the community. The crash raised immediate questions about injuries and the cause, which remain unclear at this time.

The crash marks the third of its kind locally since April.  In July, a 14-year-old boy was killed after a car exited a nearby car wash and ran into a Hindale sub shop. On April 23, nearby Chi-Shack in Willowbrook, just a mile away, was hit by a vehicle causing exterior damage.
