COVID-19 vaccine eligibility expands Thursday to those with Cancer, Diabetes +

CHICAGO – Beginning Thursday, more residents statewide will be eligible to receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced the news, citing those with various conditions like cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and obesity will be eligible for the jab.

Those newly eligible to receive the vaccine will not be asked to show proof to the condition, however healthcare workers will ask those receiving the in demand drug to ensure their eligibility.
