As spring begins to warm up, Dairy Queen is already looking ahead to summer with a slew of new Blizzards. To celebrate the year of the Blizzard’s debut, 1985, Dairy Queen is offering its signature frozen treat for just 85 cents between April 10-23, but only through the DQ mobile app.

The S’mores Blizzard will return as April’s Blizzard of the Month, as will the Cotton Candy and Choco Dipped Strawberry Blizzards. But new to the lineup is the OREO Brookie Blizzard, which combines OREO cookie pieces and brookie pieces with vanilla soft serve. The Peanut Butter Puppy Chow Blizzard will also make its debut and be blended with puppy chow, chocolate chunks, and a peanut butter topping.

DQ recently welcomed spring with its first “free cone day” on March 20, following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

Fast-food outlets and restaurants often cycle their seasonal or limited-time items, which can cause excitement or disappointment among customers. However, Dairy Queen’s 85 cent Blizzard deal is sure to generate buzz, and the exclusive offer through the mobile app will undoubtedly drive downloads.
