Jackson, KY – A cold front is expected to bring showers and thunderstorms to Eastern Kentucky today, followed by a break in the rain as the front moves out by this evening. This will pave the way for a ridge of high pressure, bringing dry and pleasant weather to the area on Monday.

According to the US National Weather Service Jackson Kentucky, today’s forecast predicts cloudy, warm, and muggy conditions with scattered storms throughout the day. Temperatures will range from 80-87°F, cooling to 53-59°F overnight as the storms exit.

On Monday, residents can expect clear skies and much cooler temperatures, with highs between 75-80°F and lows from 53-58°F. The dry weather will continue through Tuesday, which will be mostly clear and humid with warmer temperatures reaching 85-90°F.

However, the respite will be short-lived. On Wednesday, partly cloudy skies will give way to scattered showers and storms late in the evening. Temperatures are forecasted to be between 87-93°F during the day, dropping to 64-70°F at night.

The Fourth of July on Thursday will see mostly cloudy, hot, and humid conditions. Showers and storms are expected throughout the day, with temperatures ranging from 85-91°F and cooling to 67-72°F at night. Rain chances are projected to be between 60-80%.
