Kankakee Man Uninjured after Dodge Ram Holds Up Under Gunfire

KANKAKEE, Ill. – A man driving a 2016 Black Dodge Ram in Kankakee had a lucky escape on Wednesday night after shots were fired at his vehicle. 

The incident occurred at around 7:30 pm in the west alley of the 500 block of Osborn, when a gunman dressed in all black fired shots at the man’s pickup truck.

Despite the truck being hit by the gunfire, the driver was not injured and managed to escape unharmed. 

The incident was reported to the Kankakee Police, who are currently investigating the incident and urging anyone with information to come forward.
