Two-Story Home in St. John Near Daycare Catches Fire

St. John, IN – A two-story home near a daycare in St. John caught fire Thursday afternoon, causing a disruption in the area.

The fire broke out around 4 p.m. at 10600 Theilen St. The incident caused disruptions at the nearby Li’l Rascals Educational Center, located across the street from the house.

The St. John Fire Department responded promptly to the scene. Firefighters are still battling the blaze, and there have been no reported injuries. No other buildings in the immediate area have been damaged.

Authorities have not disclosed whether anyone was inside the house when the fire broke out, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the St. John Fire Department.
