Minnesota Faces Severe Thunderstorms with Highs Reaching 90 Degrees Today

Minneapolis, MN – Severe thunderstorms are expected to continue across Minnesota Tuesday afternoon and evening, potentially bringing strong winds and heavy rain.

According to the US National Weather Service Twin Cities, temperatures are expected to reach highs of 90 degrees today. The storms, which are anticipated to be severe at times, will persist through Wednesday and Thursday, with cooler temperatures ranging from 70 to 80 degrees. There is a 30% chance of showers and storms on Wednesday and a 40% chance on Thursday.

Residents are advised to stay informed and take precautions as the weather develops. The National Weather Service warns that the storms could lead to localized flooding and hazardous driving conditions. It is recommended to secure outdoor items, avoid travel during peak storm periods, and stay updated on weather alerts.
