Motorcyclist in Critical Condition After Lake County Route 45 Collision

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. – A serious crash in unincorporated Libertyville on Friday has left a motorcyclist with critical injuries. 

Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived at Route 137 and Route 45 to find a 56-year-old man from McHenry, the rider of a 2010 Yamaha motorcycle, severely injured. He collided with a 2010 Chrysler sedan making a left turn. The motorcyclist was rushed to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville for life-threatening injuries. 

The crash is under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Technical Crash Investigations Unit. The Chrysler driver was unharmed.
