Northern Indiana – This weekend, northern Indiana is on alert for isolated severe storms capable of producing damaging winds and small hail. The US National Weather Service Northern Indiana has indicated that the storms could develop this afternoon and evening, primarily east of IN-15.

Saturday’s forecast includes cooler temperatures, with highs in the 70s and low 80s, and mostly dry conditions. However, the region should brace for another round of storms by Monday afternoon. Sunday’s weather will be more favorable, with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-80s to low 90s.

The National Weather Service notes that confidence in the severity of today’s storms is low, as it depends on the level of instability throughout the day. Residents should monitor weather updates and be ready for sudden changes.

Temperatures will rise again by Sunday, reaching the upper 80s and low 90s. The threat of storms will return on Monday afternoon, underscoring the importance of staying prepared and informed.
