Parts of Massachusetts, New York Brace for 65mph Winds Under Thunderstorm Watch

Springfield, MA – A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued until 8 PM EDT for parts of western Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and far southeastern New York. Residents in these areas should prepare for the possibility of damaging winds, with gusts reaching up to 65 mph.
