JOLIET – President Joe Biden will be visit town later today in a final push for candidates as the election nears.
Biden is expected to talk at Jones Elementary School to discuss a variety to topics including lowering prescription drug charges. Biden was in the area Friday for a fundraiser to support Democratic Congressman Sean Casten.
Congresswoman Lauren Underwood is expected to be in attendance, however Congressman Bill Foster, who’s district includes Joliet, will not due to previously planned campaign duties.
