Southeast Michigan Forecast: Pleasant Start, Rain Expected by Wednesday

Detroit, MI – Cooler temperatures and pleasant conditions are expected today and Monday across Southeast Michigan as Canadian high pressure dominates the region. According to the US National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac Michigan, the forecast indicates a sunny and breezy Sunday with highs ranging from 65 to 72 degrees. Monday will maintain the sunny trend, with temperatures slightly higher, reaching between 74 and 76 degrees.

By Tuesday, the weather begins to shift, with partly sunny skies and temperatures climbing to 77-80 degrees. Shower chances increase overnight, setting the stage for a wetter Wednesday. According to the Weather Channel, Wednesday will be notably warmer and muggier, with temperatures soaring to 84-88 degrees. This day will also bring the highest probability of showers and thunderstorms, accompanied by breezy conditions.

The latter part of the week sees a mix of sun and clouds. Thursday’s forecast predicts highs of 85 degrees under partly sunny skies. By Friday, rain chances return with a 35% probability of showers and a high of 82 degrees. The weekend looks promising, with Saturday seeing highs around 79 degrees and partly sunny skies, while Sunday will be mostly sunny with temperatures reaching 77 degrees.
