GIBSON CITY – A woman has died after being hit in the parking lot of a Dollar General Store last week.
According to Gibson City Police, 77-year-old Carol Leisure was hit by a vehicle around 3 pm last Thursday. Leisure died while in transport to a local hospital.
No details or charges have been released on the name of the driver involved in the incident.
