125 COVID-19 deaths today, most in Illinois since pandemic began

Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today announced 1,140 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 125 additional deaths.

There are now 1,072 deaths from COVID-19 in Illinois. Among the new deaths included 7 dead in Will County.

Alexander County is now reporting a case.  Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 25,733 cases, including 1,072 deaths, in 90 counties in Illinois. The age of cases ranges from younger than one to older than 100 years.
