Missing Berwyn Boy Found Deceased Miles from Home

Summit, IL – A community’s hope turned to heartbreak as Adan Perez, a boy earlier reported missing by his family, was found dead in Summit, weeks after his disappearance. 

The Berwyn Police Department had launched an extensive search following the initial report on April 8, with the inquiry stretching across the region. Despite concerted efforts by detectives and the influx of public assistance, the investigation concluded with a sorrowful discovery miles from where Adan was last seen. 

The authorities remain in close communication with the Perez family during this time of grief, extending their deepest sympathies. Further details are expected as the investigation continues.
