Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, Illinois Temporarily Closed on Black Friday Due to High Traffic

SCHAUMBURG, IL – The Village of Schaumburg announced on Friday evening, shortly after 6 PM, that Woodfield Mall is temporarily closing due to excessive traffic congestion. 

This closure on one of the busiest shopping days of the year, Black Friday, is aimed at managing the safety and flow of traffic in the area. Local authorities are advising people to avoid the vicinity of the mall until the situation improves. 

Further updates are expected as the situation evolves. The Village apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this temporary closure.
