Bourbonnais, IL – Make this summer one to remember for your child with the BTPD Summer Camp! Starting May 1, 2024, you can register your 5 to 11-year-olds for a summer brimming with fun and learning. At BTPD, campers will flourish through a variety of leisure activities including sports, arts & crafts, games, and nature exploration. It’s an opportunity for kids to enhance their social skills, build a positive self-image, and enjoy the benefits of engaging, hands-on experiences.
The camp runs for 11 weeks, from June 3 to August 16, ensuring that your child’s summer is packed with excitement from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Children as young as five who are entering the first grade are welcome to join in the fun.
The weekly rate is set at $145 for residents and $160 for non-residents, making it an affordable option for summer engagement. To secure a spot, make sure to register in person at a BTPD facility and pay the $30 non-refundable registration fee per camper. You’ll then be able to choose the weeks you want your camper(s) to attend, with pre-registration required by 3:00 pm on the Thursday of the week before.
BTPD also offers an early drop-off service at the Exploration Station within Perry Farm Park and has a reliable pick-up system, with the Perry Farm Park Pavilion as the usual location, and alternative sites communicated via the Group Me App in case of rain.
