Kankakee Woman Arrested for Home Invasion and Robbery

KANKAKEE, IL – Kankakee Police have arrested 37-year-old Nona Daniels following a home invasion robbery. 

According to a police report, the incident occurred just before 11:30 AM on Monday at a residence in the 1200 block of East Oak. The victim reported that an acquaintance, later identified as Daniels, knocked on their door around 11 AM. Upon opening the door, an unidentified man accompanied Daniels, entered the home, and demanded items from the victim. The report further states that the man assaulted the victim with a firearm and took a cell phone before fleeing. 

Daniels was located by police and, following an interview, was arrested on Tuesday. Charges against her include home invasion with a firearm and robbery.
