Peoria, IL – The Peoria Police Department announces traffic adjustments for the upcoming Santa Claus Parade, hosted by Peoria Area Community Events (P.A.C.E.) on Friday, November 24, 2023.
The parade, starting at 9:15 a.m., will begin near the Fire Department’s Central House, proceeding along a designated route including Monroe, Main, and Adams streets, and concluding at Adams and Hamilton. Key intersections like Monroe & Wayne, Madison & Main, and Adams & Hamilton, among others, will be affected from approximately 9:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Travelers in downtown Peoria are advised to allot additional time for their journeys and exercise caution due to expected pedestrian traffic.
