PEORIA, IL – Police responded to reports of a shooting early Monday morning in the 1200 blk of N Ellis.
According to Peoria Police reports, when officers arrived the scene, police discovered an adult male with gunshot wounds, promptly declared dead by attending medics.
An altercation inside the residence reportedly escalated soon leading to the fatal shooting. TNashia S. Wash, 18, was later charged with First Degree Murder and is currently detained at the Peoria County Jail.
