BRISTOL, IN — An unintentional foot misstep led to chaos at a local B.P. gas station.

According to police reports it happened at 4:20 p.m. Monday when a 66-year-old man reportedly mistakenly hit his gas pedal instead of the brake when approaching a red light. In a desperate bid to avoid colliding with traffic, he swerved and jumped the curb, plowing straight into a parked Jeep.

While the Jeep endured extensive damage, the distressed driver, who was the only reported injured in the incident, suffered chest pain following the crash.
