Indiana Braces for 70 MPH Winds as Severe Weather Threatens Tonight

Indianapolis, IN – An urgent weather alert has been issued for Central Indiana as meteorologists predict severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging 70 mph winds. 

The National Weather Service warns of a significant threat to the Indianapolis area, highlighting the potential for not only destructive winds but also hail and isolated tornadoes. 

With the storm system expected to arrive by 5 PM and continue into the early morning hours of Friday, residents are advised to secure outdoor belongings and seek shelter during this period of heightened weather risk.
