Northern Indiana Weather Alert: Rain and Storms Expected Thursday to Saturday

Fort Wayne, IN – Today’s warm and dry weather across Northern Indiana will shift as a cold front approaches, bringing rain and potential storms from late Thursday through early Saturday. 

Temperatures will remain in the high 70s to low 80s until the front passes. The most significant weather change is forecasted for Friday, with rain and storm chances peaking throughout the day. Residents are advised to prepare for sudden changes in weather conditions, especially on Friday. 

According to the National Weather Service, precipitation probabilities will increase dramatically by midday Friday, reaching up to 65% in some areas, including Fort Wayne, South Bend, and Michigan City.
