KANKAKEE – An Arkansas couple was found shot to death in a semi early Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Kankakee County Coroner’s Office, 40-year-old Michael J Hendrickson and 34-year- old Tiffany C Hendrickson of Fort Smith, Arkansas were found inside a semi-tractor on I-57.
Both died of gunshot wounds to the head, however it was found during an autopsy Mr. Hendrickson died of a self-inflicted wound.
Further details are expected following toxicology testing. The deaths are now under investigation with Kankakee County Coroner’s Office, the Illinois State Police Troop 5, and the Illinois State Police Zone 1 Investigations Division.
