Art Students: Apply Now for the $3,000 William E. Derry Foundation Scholarship

Kankakee County, IL – The William E. Derry Foundation for Arts in Education has announced its 2024 scholarship program, awarding $3,000 to support higher education in the arts. Applicants with a passion for fine arts and a GPA of 3.0 or higher are encouraged to apply.

According to the Foundation’s recent Facebook post, high school seniors and college students pursuing degrees in art-related fields are eligible. The scholarship aims to help students seeking a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Arts, or Master of Fine Arts.

The application deadline is July 15, 2024, with the awardee to be revealed at the Foundation’s annual golf event on August 10. This scholarship reflects the Foundation’s commitment to fostering artistic talent and education. For further details, candidates can contact Andrew Derry.
