Aurora Shooting Leaves Man in Critical Condition, Police Seek Leads

AURORA, December 7, 2023 – A 22-year-old man is critically injured following a shooting incident near Fifth Avenue and Bangs Street. 

Aurora Police (APD) responded to the scene around 3:00 PM on December 6th, where they found the victim inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds. He was immediately rushed to a local hospital by Aurora Fire Department Paramedics.

The APD’s Investigations Bureau, alongside Evidence Technicians, are actively investigating, focusing on gathering crucial forensic evidence. The incident currently remains a significant concern for both the authorities and the local community.
