Bond set at $750,000 for Bourbonnais Man following domestic disturbance

BOURBONNAIS – Bond was set at $750,000 for Salvador D. Salazar following his arrest Monday afternoon in Tri-Star Estates.

Salazar, 34, was charged on six counts from Monday’s incident in court, including Domestic Battery and Armed Violence, Resisting Arrest, Possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of ammunition, and owning a firearm without valid foid card.

Kankakee County Sheriff reported finding various firearms along with 1000 rounds of ammunition, armor plate carriers, ballistic vests, and around five pounds of marijuana along with suspected LSD and mushrooms during Monday’s arrest.

Salazar remains in custody at Jerome Combs Detention Center in Kankakee.
