The event will be held at The Grow Center, located at 310 Main St NW.

Sponsored by Project Sun, an organization dedicated to helping children flourish, the panel aims to address the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ youth and provide insights for fostering an inclusive community. Parents, caregivers, educators, school counselors, social workers, administrators, and anyone invested in the well-being of our community’s youth are encouraged to attend.

LGBTQ+ youth are disproportionately affected by bullying, mental health issues, and suicide, making this panel discussion of vital importance. By coming together and sharing experiences, parents, leaders, and professionals will provide valuable perspectives and practical strategies to support LGBTQ+ youth in Bourbonnais.

The event will emphasize the importance of creating a safe and understanding environment for LGBTQ+ youth, nurturing their mental health and overall well-being. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in constructive dialogue and gain valuable knowledge to make a positive impact on the lives of LGBTQ+ youth.

Registration for the event is required, and participants can submit questions to the panel during the registration process. It is important to note that this event is intended as a platform for open discussion and learning, rather than a debate.

Don’t miss this chance to be part of the movement supporting LGBTQ+ youth mental health on June 1st at The Grow Center in Bourbonnais for an insightful and empowering discussion panel that will shape a brighter future for our community.
