Bourbonnais Man arrested on forgery charges, owning machine gun in Bradley following domestic dispute

BRADLEY – Police arrested a man on forgery and weapons charges Sunday afternoon after allegedly finding several Indiana tags at his home.

According to Bradley Police it happened around 3 p.m. in the 1200 block of Winans Avenue after receiving a report of domestic disturbance.  During the call, a gun was found that allegedly belonged to 23-year-old Jermiah Stephens who did not own a FOID card.  Officers later searched the home reportedly discovering additional firearms, including a reportedly illegally modified automatic device and several fraudulent Indiana State license tags.

Stephens was arrested on Forgery charges including Possessing a Fradulant ID card, Defacing a firearm, and one count of illegal possession of a Machine Gun and Unlawful use of a Weapon.
