Bradley, IL – Memorial Service for Fallen Bradley Police Sergeant Scheduled for Friday

Bradley, IL – Bradley Police Station will host a memorial service on Friday night, marking the second anniversary of the tragic shooting of Sergeant Marlene Rittmanic and the injuries to Sergeant Tyler Bailey. 

The solemn event, set to occur at 9 PM in the 100 block of South Michigan, Bradley, invites community members to pay their respects. Attendees are encouraged to wear blue and bring flags in a show of solidarity and remembrance. The memorial commemorates the events of December 29, 2021, at the Comfort Inn in Bradley, a night that deeply impacted the community. 

The service is open to all, reflecting the broad support and mourning within the community. Meanwhile, the two individuals charged in connection with the shooting are still awaiting trial, continuing the legal proceedings surrounding this impactful case.
