Braidwood, IL – Local Fire District to Conduct Lifestar Helicopter Training Exercise Today

Braidwood, IL – Residents of Braidwood may notice increased aerial activity this morning due to a scheduled emergency response exercise. 

The Braidwood Fire Protection District is set to conduct training exercises with a Lifestar medical helicopter. 

According to the District’s announcement, the helicopter will be landing around 10 a.m. near the Township Building off Division. Officials have cautioned the public to exercise care in the vicinity and to refrain from approaching the helicopter during the drills. 

These preparations aim to enhance local emergency response capabilities.
